Cibona Zagreb won their 16th Croatian league championship after beating KK Zadar 95-73. This victory in the finals decider of the A1 league marked an impressive comeback for Cibona, who lost the first two games in the best-of-five series. However, Cibona showed incredible strength, winning three consecutive games and becoming the first team to recover from an 0-2 finals series deficit. In the decisive match, Bojan Bogdanović led Cibona with 21 points, while Marko Tomas added 18. Zadar started the game strong, leading 21-14 after Trent Plaisted's dunk. However, Cibona responded with a 15-0 run, resulting in a 39-24 lead. Leon Radosevic and Vedran Vukusic contributed six points each during that run. Cibona took the lead and never looked back. Zadar did not give up, and thanks to Hrvoje Perić and Miro Bilan, they cut the deficit to 51-43 at halftime. In the second half, Zadar narrowed it down to 53-49 with a three-pointer from Rok Stipčević, but Cibona clamped down on defense, allowing only four points the rest of the third quarter, finishing with a commanding 73-53 lead. In the fourth quarter, Zadar could not mount an incredible comeback. Perić led Zadar with 17 points, while Stipčević finished with 16 points and six assists. Radosevic also tallied 17 points for Cibona, and Jamont Gordon showcased his versatility with 12 points, seven assists, and four steals.
